In addition, your office days can be either from their Balham or Ealing location.As a Housing Officer you will play a pivotal role in providing high quality housing management services across their properties. Your day-to-day role, among other things, will involve:* Effective patch management to include: management of rent, Anti-social behaviour, council tax, repair escalations, ad-hoc/quarterly scheme inspections and lettings. * Supporting the implementation of new acquisitions and ensuring the setting up of properties and Service Users on the housing database for your assigned patch. * Working with the Senior Housing Officer to put in place service contracts for new services in your allocated patch and monitor ongoing performance. * Developing positive relationships with both internal departments across Certitude external landlord housing association partners. Certitude are ideally looking for individuals who can demonstrate much of the following:* Housing rental income and arrears control processes, rent collection databases/systems, dealing with HB/DWP/UC office on rent issues. * Managing tenancy breaches, ASB and all areas of court procedures. * Delivering a high-quality housing management support in the Housing Sector. * Developing/building a strong positive relationships and network with both internal and externally stakeholders/ colleagues. * Good all-round knowledge of tenancy management, management and service level agreements and leading on them. * Updating and monitoring ongoing performance/standards of contracts and management agreements. In addition, you must be motivated and emotionally resilient, be a strong listener with exceptional communication skills and demonstrate that you are able to build a rapport with tenants, stakeholders and colleagues.
