Job Description

Tiger Private are looking for an experienced live-in Housekeeper, for a relaxed and down to earth family with two school-age children. The Housekeeper will assist the Principals with the upkeep of their beautiful home. The residence is located on the beautifulisland of Jersey, and sits on 40 acres of land.There are three properties on the Principals estate. The families main residence consists of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is a second home which consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom, in which an elderly family member lives. There is also athird property in the early stages of being renovated. The housekeeper is only required to work across the two occupied homes.Duties will include:

  • Cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
  • House sitting
  • Helping when the Client entertains
  • Simple family-style cooking on occasion for 4-5 people
  • Stocking the house with food, running any errands
  • Occasional travel with the family
  • Occasional ad hoc childminding
  • Deep cleaning
  • Managing wardrobes
  • Some companionship for the elderly family member (no care duties)
The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, Honest, cheerful and kind. Someone with proven experience in a similar role is desirable.Due the location and nature of this role, a clean driving license is essential.Accommodation will be provided in an apartment block close by, in a beautiful apartment with sea views. All bills will be included, along with use of a car. Candidates with pets and partners will be considered.This is a five day per week position, flexible on the days, but the client would like at least every other Saturday. If you work a Saturday, the Sunday and Monday will be given as days off.Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility should there be a special occasion (for which time off will be given in lieu).This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to work and live in a truly beautiful location and to help support a wonderful family with the upkeep of their estate.Tiger is B Corp Certified.
