£21.67 - £27.98 per hour Various hours per week Various weeks per annum Various Campus Fixed term 30th September 2022 Oxfordshire Adult Learning (OAL) is a large, award winning faculty of Abingdon and Witney College. We aim to maximise access to communitylearning for adults in Oxfordshire, widening participation and transforming the health, social and economic wellbeing of individuals, families and their communities. Our provision is diverse and includes an extensive range of leisure learning courses, communitylearning courses, family learning courses and accredited courses which lead to recognised qualifications. Courses are delivered at our College campuses in Abingdon, Witney, Kidlington and Cowley, as well as in community venues such as village halls and withinlocal schools. OAL tutors are experts in their fields who enjoy sharing their passion and skills with others. They relish seeing their learners gain confidence in a new discipline or rekindle the enjoyment of a past hobby. Tutors are responsible for planningcourses, delivering inspiring lessons, keeping records of their learners progress and participating in development activities to enhance their own teaching, learning and assessment skills. The College offers tutors new to teaching a comprehensive staff developmentprogramme to support their journey in their role. Opportunities also exist to gain a recognised teaching qualification.
