Job Description

HIU EngineerSalary and Package on offer: - £37k-£44k Base Salary (depending on experience & fully employed) + Callout system and overtime available to increase earning potential + Company Van + Pension, Sickness Insurance and Deathin Service + 32 Days Holiday.Location: - London and within the M25.Company Profile:Superb opportunity to join an established client of ours, who are one of the UKs market leaders in delivering centralised community energy projects to public / private residential, retail and commercial sectors. With a background in design, install andmaintaining de-centralised energy centres.Job Role:

  • Working on various sites in London and within the M25, youll need to live commutable to London.
  • Youll be responsible for servicing Heat / Hydraulic Interface Units to ensure the HIU is energy efficient and to minimise breakdowns until the next service interval.
  • Reactive maintenance to Hydraulic Interface Units to investigate the cause and effect a first time repair.
  • Assist with other mechanical services and the overall service and maintenence within Energy Centres.

Key Skills / Experience Required:
  • Served a recognised trade in either Plumbing, Pipefitting or HVAC, therefore ideally with a mechanical bias.
  • Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ certificates or equivalent.
  • Ideally youll have some electrical knowledge as well as mechanical, such as 17th edition or 18th edition (however not essential).
  • Experience in servicing HIUs and reacting to HIU breakdowns.
  • Hold current CSCS card (not essential and will be provided if required).
