HE Adviser (neaco) (Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach) 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Fixed term until 31st July 2024 £23,630 - £25,656 per annum Are you passionate about empowering students and supporting them to fulfil their potentialDo you already hold an IAG or Careers qualification We are looking for people who have the ability to inspire, excellent communication and presentation skills and a desire to help students realise their career potential. This is a great opportunity to joinour Student Services team to work with young people across Norfolk to raise their understanding and appreciation of Higher Education. As part of the NEACO project, this HE Adviser role will be focussed on working with young people who may experience barriersto progressing to Higher Education. It requires work with families and schools to increase participation in Higher Education in key parts of Norfolk. Support for existing students will be in the form of drop-in appointments, supporting careers talks and fairs,planning and presenting employability workshops and talks and enabling students to succeed in the next stage of their development. You will be heavily involved in the students UCAS applications, assisting with personal statement writing, how to apply andmaking choices for next steps. The post will include some evening and weekend work throughout the year. You will be required to keep records of interactions to support quarterly reports for the neaco Central team therefore experience in data management, PPpresentations and Excel Spreadsheets is essential.
