Health and Safety AdvisorOur Central London based client are on the lookout for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a permanent or contract basis covering Health and Safety on their Rail and Utilities projects.What will the role involveAs Health and Safety Manager you will be the lead for all of these areas in the workplace as well as utility and rail sites that they manage for other clients, making sure they remain within statutory obligations, best practice as well as new legislation that arises. You will be the go to and expert for all environmental sustainability issues as well as the ESOS submission for the firm. On top of this you will advise on all Health and Safety issues for clients as well as mentoring site HSSE Coordinators, investigating accidents and incidents, meeting with enforcement agencies, ensuring suppliers are through the SafeContractor process, carrying out reviews, ensuring company targets are managed and hit and supporting Project Managers with Health and Safety issues that arise.What skills will you haveYou will be a competent Health and Safety expert who will have carried out a similar role ideally with a background within Rail, Utilities or Construction. You will possess IEMA Membership or be working towards it, be at least a graduate of IOSH or equivalent and ideally working toward NEBOSH and preferably BIFM too.
