Job Description

Would you like to join a large social enterprise on their exciting growth journey (expected to move into prime provider territory in the next few years) This role has the potential to move to a director level role (all their directors have been promotedfrom Head Of roles).This new role brings together the three core youth programmes the organisation delivers:

  • NCS (National Citizenship Service)managing a team of around 10 (and managing the contract) which runs extra curricular programmes in school holidays for students along with Skills Booster support helping students to gain life skillsand delivering community initiatives.
  • Summer Centrestargeted at international students who come to the UK to study and learn. You will be overseeing accommodation, syllabus, and overall student experience
  • School integrationswhich is connecting in with schools and colleges so they can access services this provider can offer, such as skills support and work experience placements.
The team will be around 15 in total, with potential to grow. Your key priority will be National Citizenship Service for the first 6 months. Then attributing some focus towards the new summer schools which are coming on board later in the year. The contractsare all in a good place, and performance is where it should be. But there is lots of scope for someone new coming onboard to develop the service, and potential to move into a more senior post with the organisation.As a minimum, you must have previously managed youth programmes like the above. Ideally you will have experience of managing the National Citizenship contract.Please apply via this advert.
