Head of Veterinary Nursing Centre and Programme Manager for Veterinary Nursing (Maternity Cover) - Bicton College - Salary: CC36-CC50 £26,000-£32,633 - Closing Date 16 July 2021 - Hours per week: 37 - Weeks per year: 52 - Fixed Term Role until 1 January2023Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead the Veterinary Nursing department on a maternity cover basis, to commence from September 2021. The role is on a fixed term contract until 1st January 2023. The successful applicantwill be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Veterinary Nursing qualifications at Bicton College, as well as programme managing and teaching on the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.Applicants must have excellent communication skills and theability to work within an established team. Previous experience of teaching, animal handling and student support is essential. The successful applicant will be required to deliver teaching across a range of veterinary nursing subjects, including Anatomy andPhysiology and therefore must be either a Registered Veterinary Nurse of MRCVS.The role is responsible for leading a team of Internal Quality Assurance and Lecturing staff therefor previous line management experience is also essential.
