A global commodities firm are seeking to appoint a Head of Tax for maternity cover, on a 14-month contract starting ideally from October/November. This role would suit a senior tax candidate with experience of energy/commodities/infrastructure/renewables or other related heavy sector.Responsibilities:- End-to-end ownership of CT compliance and reporting (1 direct report)- Ultimate responsibility for VAT compliance and reporting (2 direct reports)- Internal tax advisory for all finance projects- Fresh pair of eyes to tighten controls and reduce riskRequirements:- ACA/CTA/ACCA/ADIT or equiv. qualified with proven in-house tax leadership experience- Heavy sector exposure- Up to date knowledge of UK tax legislation, accustomed to operating internationally- Good business partnering skills Required skills
