We need a fresh and energetic Head of Tax to control of the Tax function of one of the most exciting and successful names in fin-tech Banking.If you are an experienced Head of Tax with UK banking experience and are full of ideas and ways to improve and challenge the status quo, then this is a role you should be applying for......Key Deliverables:* Lead the Tax function of a UK fin-tech Bank* Experience in all aspects of tax management across direct and indirect tax requirements and compliance* Responsible for building and executing the tax strategy and tax planning* Management of all Transfer Pricing* Liaising with external tax advisors* Delivering domestic and international tax reporting requirements including FATCA & CRS, PFIC Reporting* Supporting project and new product delivery* Tax Reporting system implementation* Delivering a best in class team in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environmentExperience Needed:* Qualified tax accountant or equivalent (CTA, ACA)* Strong technical knowledge gained from either financial services or an accountancy practice* Solid experience of banking or financial services environment* Track record of delivering tax reporting under pressure and to tight deadlines* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment* Energy to constantly improve what and challenge what has always been done before* Gravitas amongst senior colleaguesIf you have experience from a large bank, fin tech or Big Four accountancy practice and are excited by making a big difference in one of the best challengers in Europe - we definitely want to hear from you!
