Job Description

This is an incredibly exciting brand new role to lead the supply chain division & launch of this multinational FMCG business into the UK & European market.Client DetailsMy client is multinational business that operates across multiple industries within the FMCG sector. Their brands are globally recognised, however they are developing a European hub built out the brand new London HQ. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to lead the launch of the consumer business across Europe.DescriptionThis role will lead the supply chain business as they launch across the UK & Europe. Reporting directly into the General Manager this role will be responsible for;

  • Lead the Supply Chain strategy development and deployment
  • Identify the Supply Chain workflow to improve the opportunities and maximize the services across the brands
  • Closely work with HQ to manage the operational Supply Chain service, monitor the inventory and cost
  • Work with overseas based CMO to ensure the sufficient products supply and inventory based on the demand planning
  • Development of inventory optimisation opportunities and review Supply Chain performance to avoid risks
  • Partner with Business Units to understand the business needs
  • Develop the replenishment strategies on segmentations
  • Manage Inventory waste management based on the regulations
  • Provide direction on customer logistics terms and implications
  • Initiate technical leadership to the Warehouse and Logistics
  • Monitor and manage the 3PL for Warehouse operations and distributions
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will have end to end supply chain responsibilities, yet be very proficient in demand planning. Ideally this candidate will have previous experience developing and building systems, processes within a start up environment. They will also ideally have;
  • Degree holder in Supply Chain / other business discipline
  • Experienced in managing 3PL
  • Capable to manage diverse rage of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Well Understanding of key Supply Chain functions: Demand planning, Inventory management, Cost of serve and Stock-in-trade
  • Capable to work with HQ in different time zones
  • Korean speaking would be highly desirable
  • SAP experience ideally
