Job Description

  • £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
  • London + WFH
We have an excellent opportunity for a driven and forward-thinking HEad of Supply Chain to join a creative and successful consumer product business. This is a design-led brand whose products are sold in leading high street and ecommerce retailers, both herein the UK and worldwide, they have an enviable client list.You will have ownership of the supply chain, merchandising, procurement and logistics function for this business, ensuring a swift and efficient route to market and optimum inventory levels at all times. The successful applicant will have a background withina consumer products business, have excellent forecasting / demand planning skills, experience working with global factories, and have a growth mindset.Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing the end-to-end supply chain function for the business across procurement, forecasting to inventory flow, ensuring timely distribution to customers
  • Creating and reviewing forecasts, approaching with a commercial eye, using sales data, current trends and market conditions to inform decision making
  • Managing inventory & stockholding at multiple warehouse locations, devising exit strategies for slow moving stock
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring agreed critical path dates are achieved at all times
  • 3pl management - setting KPIs, managing budgets, and ensuring best possible service levels are achieved
  • Having a curious mindset, constantly reviewing processes and looking to improve efficiencies and performance, keeping abreast of innovations in the field
  • Analysis & reporting as required
  • Line management responsibility for the Supply Chain Manager
Experience & skills required include:
  • Excellent Supply Chain and Merchandising / Demand Planning experience
  • A thorough understanding of wholesale, and experience working with global vendors including in the Far East
  • Excellent merchandising, analytical and demand planning skills
  • Highly commercial, numeric, and analytical, with first class Excel skills
  • A motivated self-starter with a proactive and think out of the box’ approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
  • A sociable and friendly persona, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
