4Leisure are looking for a Head of Sport for a Private Member’s Club in the Heart of London. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a diverse range of Sports within a Club based facility, as a Sports Manager, Head of Sport or an Assistant Sport’s Manager.You will be working with the Sports Committee and organising external sport clubs for members & residents. You will strive to be the best Sports Club in London, the amenities include: bedrooms, fine dining restaurant, brasserie, café, ballroom, function rooms and top of the range sports facilities.The Sports area consists of a swimming pool, gym, squash courts, exercise studio, fencing and treatment rooms.You will be responsible for staff, which includes Leisure Attendants, Personal Trainers, Reception staff as well as physiotherapists, fencers, squash instructors as well as contracted staff that run the exercise classes.Your duties will include managing a large team of staff ensuring that the Sports area is operating to its full potential at all times, you’ll be giving general advice on sporting activity and will also be in charge of monitoring and managing the Sports finances, budgets, and KPI’s.You will need to have excellent customer service skills, good in handling complaints, be flexible with your working hours and you will be required to work five days out of seven.A generous salary up to £40k is available for the right candidate, apply now if you feel this is the right challenge for you.
