Job Description

Head of Global SalesUK Based - Remote with travel to European head office once a monthOur client is a revolutionary biotech company that has developed patented food supplement technologies to address some of the worlds largest consumer health unmet needs (alcohol breakdown, weight-loss). Their ambition is to build a $1bn revenue businessby the end of 2027Their first product, is a revolutionary pre-drinking pill that works! Featured in The Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Times, Lad Bible The Sun & over 500 other articles across 40+ countries.It is now available in 25 markets across Europe, North America & China and scaling-up rapidly globally and across channels. More products are currently in the pipelineWe are now recruiting for a Global Sales Director to help them operationalise their current retail listings they have been listed within and working with the start-ups of the healthcare distributors they have been appointing worldwide.Current accounts include; The Hut Group, Wells Pharmacy, Lloyds Pharmacy, Superdrug, Alliance Wholesale with a number of others in the pipeline The ideal candidate must have:

  • At least 10 year-experience in sales with exposure to the pharmacy channel/healthcare in a direct and/or indirect (exclusive distributor) environment
  • An understanding of the UK retail environment along with international sales experience (desirable but not essential)
  • The ability to start from scratch key accounts & distributors relationships and managing them effectively
  • The ability to build a Global Sales function from scratch
  • A good balance between being hands-on and strategically sound
  • The ability to work independently & work in growing up a successful team of Account Managers & Commercial Managers.
  • Be able to work within an entrepreneurial environment
