Job Description

Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality Assurance to join a Pharmaceutical company based in London. As the Head of Quality Assurance you will be instrumental in overseeing the quality function and ensuring GxP compliance is maintainedthrough management of external suppliers and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.Your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and manage all quality activities for the UK business, and work as a key member of a International Quality Leadership Group.
  • You will lead the UK quality assurance team, manage the Quality Management System and drive a Quality First Culture.
  • Play a figure head role in managing regulatory agency inspections from MHRA, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Develop cross functional team building initiatives with internal stakeholders and work closely with third parties including Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs).
  • A key member of the site leadership team.
  • Perform oversight of Qualified Persons/QPs to release to ensure the timely and compliant release of product.
The successful candidate will possess:
  • 10 years of experience working in Quality Assurance (QA) departments in a commercial pharmaceutical environment
  • Extensive experience of working with third parties and supply chain to ensure GxP compliance
  • Quality leadership skills at Manager or Head of level.
  • Qualified Person (QP) Certification desirable but not essential.
