Job Description

Are you a Head of Product that wants to drive strategy for a large scale digital transformationIf yes, then I would love to hear from you!As a Head of Product, you will be pivotal in defining and delivering a strategy for a digital transformation for a large UK based home ware business. You will be joining at the start of this project giving you a huge amount of scope to drive our product and technology are viewed. The company are a leader in the home wares sector that are looking to complete change the way they operate, transitioning to a digital product lead business.The project that you will be joining as a Head of Product, at the start of this transformation. You will really dive under the hood of their operations, taking a full warts and all analysis of their operations, identifying and then working with the key stakeholders to look at what pain points there currently are and how this can be solved through new product development.In Addition, as this is a new position within this company they will be looking or you to help bring through Agile processes and methodologies that will enable them to embed a product function in the future.A Head of Product will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • First and foremost you will have experience in defining product strategy
  • Leading on from this you will also experience distilling this strategy into a Product Roadmap
  • You will have experience helping to drive Agile change to process and implement Product methodologies
  • You will be comfortable working with a cross-functional Agile team
  • You will have experience for working with third party engineering teams
  • You will be comfortable working with a varied range of stakeholders, from very technical to non-technical
  • A large plus but by no means a must have is experience owning a large scale digital transformation
    • The initial Head of Product contract will be for 12 months and is OUTSIDE IR35.
