Job Description

Head of Product Digital Assets (Product Development/CeFi /Trading) Our client are a major crypto market-maker and OTC liquidity provider, with 500+ clients in 50+ countries.A true principal at risk firm, the vast majority of OTC desks, FX brokers, aggregators and hedge funds rely on them for liquidity - which they provide, regardless of market conditions.They are looking for a Head of Product who will have a proven track record of a leadership product development role. The successful applicant will have led Global Product Development departments in a significant financial institution, will have experienceacross several asset classes and sectors (e.g. buy/sell side, fintech etc). You may not have direct crypto experience but must be able to apply other asset class knowledge to crypto. The Head of Product will be responsible for the strategic product vision,planning, prioritisation, roadmaps, competitive analysis, delivery governance and vendor partnerships.What the Head of Product Digital Assets role will involve (Product Development/CeFi /Trading):

• Understand the market landscape by analysing client needs, current market trends and competitor offerings and seeking opportunities for differentiation in partnership with Sales & Marketing.
• Drive the execution of product lifecycle processes including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
• Gather and prioritise product and client requirements and use data-driven analysis to align and influence stakeholders on prioritisation of product features that deliver tangible outcomes with clear business impact.
• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the commercial success of several inter-connected products. Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Technology, Operations and Compliance to ensure full front-to-back coverage on product requirements.
• Create high-quality product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI. Efficiently translate the product strategy into planned work with detailed requirements for prototype constructionand final product development by technology teams.

Requirements of the Head of Product Digital Assets role (Product Development/CeFi /Trading):

• Degree qualified in business, technology, finance or related discipline.
• Proven experience of building and delivering client-focussed product with clear business impact based on metrics and outcomes.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in all elements of the product development lifecycle with strong focus on agile delivery.
• Superior business analysis and problem-solving skills, with ability to break down complex concepts and requirements into discrete deliverables with clear concise written requirements and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator (both verbal and written) with ability to produce high quality documents, plans, roadmaps and presentations with impact.
• Full front to back knowledge of financial markets covering trading, middle/back office, technology and the regulatory landscape in FX, Equities or Fixed Income with the ability to apply knowledge to new products and situations.
• A keen interest in cryptocurrency with strong knowledge of financial markets in foreign exchange and/or fixed income. Familiar with high frequency trading and connecting to other exchanges.
