Job Description

Head of Procurement/Procurement Manager - Construction

  • This role will involve bidding for work, winning work, and then delivering on it by procuring the relevant subcontracts and materials. This is a greenfield procurement role.
  • You will be working on an array of projects across London and Surrey

They offer a complete maintenance service for all types of properties, combining all services into one - meaning only one point of contact.Procurement is new to this client, so will need an experienced procurement professional to be able to run things as needed.DescriptionHead of Procurement/Procurement Manager - Construction
  • As this is a greenfield procurement role you will be setting up procurement from scratch
  • Prepare bid documentation in order to win work
  • Once work is won, source the necessary subcontractors/materials in order for the job to be completed
  • Put in place procurement tools to make ways of working easier
  • Implement a contract database for supplier info to make future tenders easier
ProfileHead of Procurement/Procurement Manager - Construction
  • Have experience of procurement and bid activity in a construction based environment.
  • Have experience of working for a SME and setting up procurement from scratch
  • Hold a valid driving license in order to visit sites across Surrey and London
  • Be able to deal with ambiguity - this is not an established function.
Job Offer
  • Salary of £60-80k depending on experience
