Job Description

Head of People & Talent - Software - Central LondonAbout the RoleOur client, a rapidly expanding and market leading ticketing and event management platform is looking for an experienced Head of People & Talent to play a key role for this software business as they enter the next stage of growth.The Head of People & Talent will be a senior role working closely with the senior management team and oversee all People initiatives including HR, Talent Acquisition & Culture right across the business. The Head of People & Talent will report directly intothe COO and CTO.Main responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies across all roles and levels.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process with best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Create and implement employer brand initiatives to help our client to continue to attract and hire the best talent.
  • Performance Management & Talent Development - Manage the performance review process, providing employees with clear goals, feedback, development opportunities, and paths for career growth.
  • Continuously advise on team-culture initiatives / proposals.
  • Driving the DEI initiative across the business.
  • Introduce initiatives to enhance Company culture.
  • Help organize socials and team-building initiatives.
About youThe ideal candidate for the Head of People & Talent will have over 7 years general Talent & People experience and be used to scaling teams from 30 to 150+ employees. Our client is looking for someone highly competent across the entire employee journey: attractingthe very best talent, talent management, on-boarding, employee engagement, company culture, DEI, performance management, learning & development, compensation, people operations, and retention.You will also have experience of working in entrepreneurial companies that have scaled up rapidly. Experience in high-growth B2B technology/ SaaS/ software industry will be a significant advantage and allow you to succeed it this role.Our client is rapidly expanding, therefore preparedness to be involved at a detailed and daily level is important. To this end we envisage that the ideal attitude and attributes required may have been gained across both large and small employer environments.An entrepreneurial outlook is critical.Must-have
  • 7+ years experience of both Talent Acquisition (recruitment) and People functions (HR) within a business.
  • CIPD level 7 qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a high-growth B2B technology / SaaS business / software business.
  • Experience within a start-up, scale up, fast growth SME or investor backed business.
  • An entrepreneurial outlook.
  • A track record of single-handedly managing and developing the Talent & People function across cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A Batchelors degree.
