Handle have partnered with a creative music company who are looking to bring on board their first strategic HR hire.This is a brand new role for the business and they are looking for someone with innovative ideas and a fresh perspective to come in and build the HR function.There is so much scope to this role and you will have full autonomy to revamp and design a brand new HR strategy in line with the business goals, as well as provide strategic HR insights and support to the senior leadership team and board of Directors.This is very much a top to bottom role where you will manage everything from the employee lifecycle, ad hoc recruitment, appraisals and salary reviews, all the way through to defining the HR strategy and driving forward People & Culture initiatives.A passion for project work is ideal as this role will involve spearheading their diversity and inclusion strategy, engagement and wellbeing initiatives, as well as the companys values proposition.You must have solid experience working within the music/entertainment/creative industry in a forward thinking SME (entertainment, film, music, digital media etc) in order to be able to hit the ground running and enjoy the prospect of working in a founder-led company. Experience working in a standalone role is ideal, or heading up the HR function in a small-medium sized business.There is amazing buy-in from the senior leadership team for this role so you will be able to add real value to the business from the outset.
