Head of Physical Education - Required January 2021Woodside High School is an outstanding, mixed 11-16 comprehensive school, serving a truly multi-cultural community, where every student is valued and treated as an individual. Our current Head of PE is relinquishing his post and reducing to part-time. This leaves us in a position to appoint a new exceptional Head of PE to join our team in January 2021.The facilities at the school include a sports hall, an indoor 60 metre athletics track, an indoor long-jump pit, a specific PE classroom, a gym, an assembly hall, an outdoor netball court and an AstroTurf. We are also located opposite New River Sport and Fitness, and have access to their facilities.Our PE team offer a wide range of courses including GCSE PE, Sports Leaders Award and Dance Leaders Award. We are proud to provide a huge range of extra-curricular clubs and opportunities; including jiu-jitsu, boxing, dance, table tennis, trampolining, basketball, rugby, netball, football, gymnastics and athletics.
