HEAD OF ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PERMANENT LONDON - HYBRID -2/3 DAYS ONSITE£63,000 - 72,000

The Barbican is seeking a dynamic individual to join their evolving People, Culture and Inclusion team, as the Head of Organisational Design and Development.The BarbicanAs a globally renowned Centre for the Arts, the Barbican is a creative catalyst, sparking possibilities and transformation for artists, audiences, and communities. Nestled in the heart of the City of London, this iconic architectural landmark is a placefor discovery, a refuge for personal reflection, and a rich resource for the local community - a place to inspire, connect and provoke debate. However, over the last 18 months, following the Barbican Stories, the organisation has instigated a major culturalchange and transformation programme, setting a new strategic roadmap with diversity and inclusion at the heart of it. The next phase of the strategic framework includes the defining of their goals, priorities, and setting a new operating model.The Role In this permanent role of Head of Organisational Design and Development, you will play a critical part in this transformation change journey. You will be responsible for;
  • Shaping their approach to organisation reviews.
  • Providing specialist OD & D expertise to business leaders and HR Business Partners
  • Designing the new Barbican Operating Model alongside the Director Group and CEO
  • Building organisational resilience capability within the people function.
  • Leading and managing the provision of learning and organisational development, including leadership development and identifying and enabling capabilities for the future.
  • Design and rollout of a People, Culture and Inclusion Strategy and workforce plan for the Barbican alongside the Director for People, Culture and Inclusion.
