Job Description

Head of Marketing Cloud One of the fastest growing Salesforce gold partners is seeking a Head of Marketing Cloud, to grow their current offering and expand upon a well-established portfolio.Their Salesforce Marketing Cloud offering has been growing steadily over the last few years and they would like someone to take their team to that "next" level. As the Head of Marketing Cloud, you will be leading a medium sized team and taking responsibility for the growth and future of the group.On a people level, you will be responsible for the growth, retention and improvement of the current team. You will help the business assess budgets and hiring plans to ensure that you are able to meet client demand over the mid-long term roadmap and business goals.On a technical level, you will be the Lead a number of projects at any time and will delegate responsibilities out to your team, acting as the escalation for client projects. You will also assist the Pre-Sales team with technical requirements and help architect the best solution for new client projects.We need someone who is UK based and has experience of leading both complex client projects, and teams sizes of 6+ and were happy to support the growth of the new Head of Marketing Cloud.Requirements

  • Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and knowledge of the wider Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud functionalities such as deep knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, and Marketing Cloud Connector, and intermediate SQL and AMPScript knowledge essential
  • Knowledge of additional products such as Personalisation Builder, Social Studio, Interaction Studio, Mobile Studio, and Datorama are highly desirable
  • Consulting and/or marketing technology implementation experience.
  • Experience managing the design & implementation of technology across multiple projects at a time.
  • Be confident managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience defining strategy, developing requirements and implementing practical business solutions
  • Ability to travel to client site
  • Minimum Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications: Salesforce Admin, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • Desirable Certifications: Datorama, Marketing Cloud Developer and Marketing Cloud Admin and Interaction Studio
