Job Summary Cwmbran Permanent BBBH780017 Jul 06, 2021 Competitive Job Description Morgan McKinley is working with a high growth Insurance business based in South Wales, to recruit a Head of Management Accounts & Planning. Reporting into the Group FinancialController, this is a fantastic opportunity for a senior finance leader to be the go to person for several finance priorities, with a remit for driving improvements across reporting, planning and business support. This is a broad and varied role which willrequire you to lead the preparation of Group monthly management accounts, and manage and mentor a team of 4. You will be responsible for producing appropriate variance analysis covering actuals / budgets / forecasts, and will proactively manage key stakeholderrelationships and sit on the Finance Executive representing the broking businesses. You will need an appreciation of financial statements, and will work closely with the Group CFO and Group FC to develop improved MI and maintain consistency of reporting. Otherkey areas of focus will include supporting group M&A initiatives and leading the preparation of annual budgeting and adhoc forecasting. The successful candidate will be a fully Qualified Accountant with significant post qualified experience, proven experienceof producing financial statements and excellent analytical skills. You will also have experience using and developing financial modelling systems and reporting packages, and previous experience of the Insurance industry is essential.
