Job Description

JOB TITLE:Head of MaintenanceJOB TYPE: Full-timeSTART DATE:As soon as possibleHOURS:total 40 hrs per week (1 Saturday morning per month). Shifts to be defined.LOCATION: 11 Harley Street, London, W1G 9PFJOB BRIEF: The role is integral part of the Administration Team at Isokinetic Medical Group - FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence.Our thriving Sports Therapy Medical Centre of excellence is looking for a Head of Maintenance who can ensure company facility is well-cared for and adequate to support the companys business operations.Our Head of maintenance is responsible for developing maintenance procedures and ensuring their implementation throughout their facility. They carry out inspections of the facilities and identify any problems which may arise. These problems are then resolvedquickly for employees safety without disrupting business operations.MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • To be available on call in case of emergencies.
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • To be fully responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the building.
  • To monitor and upkeep the plant room and equipment.
  • To manage and coordinate with the contractor the schedule service and repair of equipment.
  • To monitor and perform in house PPM of plant and equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance certificates for the legal requirements are up to date.
  • Prepare the annual maintenance budget with the company director.
  • To be responsible for the renewal of contract for the service contractor and energy supplier.
  • Manage the waste and recycle for the building.
  • Test the emergency light in the building.
  • Conduct the weekly fire alarm testing.
  • Monitor and maintain firefighting equipment and alarm system and schedule a service with the contractor.
  • To clean filter of air condition unit, extract fan and main air intake.
  • Maintain the pool plant, monitor the chemical and test the water.
  • First line of support for any IT or network issues.
  • Manage cleaning department and supplies.
  • Manage the fire safety of the building.
  • Be in charge of the stock and to request new materials equipment to be bought.
  • Perform deep cleaning duties.
  • Oversight cleaning aspects and cleaners duties with the Head of administration.
MAINTENANCE WORKER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Related degree from a technical college.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • It knowledge (basic)
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Professional presentation and attitude.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
  • Strong time management skills
