Ref: HOL-211Are you an influential, driven and collaborative individual with a proven track record of leading successful teams delivering a range of services and of successfully managing projects supported by different funding models If so, St Giles islooking for a dynamic leader to join us as Head of London Services, where you will provide overall leadership to St Giles service delivery teams in London and the surrounding regions and ensure St Giles meets its strategic objectives of developing and maintainingsuccessful services which support our core values. About this exciting opportunityAs Head of London Services, you will be part of the St GilesSenior Management Team and so responsible for providing effective leadership across the organisation, as well as leading on the development and implementation of St Giles strategic objectives across our London services. You will be also be expected to developand maintain strong internal working relationships to ensure managers and teams deliver high quality services, plus make sure our London-based and regional services reflect St Giles values and address the needs of the local area. You will also help to ensurequality assurance and consistent improvement and services which achieve targets is an ongoing priority across all services, and work closely with other Heads of Service and our Fundraising team to develop and submit bids and funding applications which willenhance and scale up our services across London and surrounding regions. Providing support on service implementation, delivery supported through a range of funding models, and staffing matters - including performance management, disciplinary and safeguarding,equality and diversity issues - is also a key aspect of this role.We positively encourage applications if you have previously worked on a client-led support project, have had personal adverse experiences such as homelessness, substance misuse, debt, involvementwith gangs etc. This includes experience of the criminal justice system, having served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison.What we are looking for: Experience of managing services providing support to one or more of the targetcohorts we work with Experience of successfully managing projects supported by different funding models and budget setting Proven record of successfully leading management teams and developing and maintaining a strong team ethos Management qualification (minimumLevel 4) An understanding of the issues faced by adults and young people who face adverse challenges Knowledge of key social, economic, and demographic trends and issues affecting the people we work with, in London and surrounding areas Outstanding interpersonal,relationship-building and communication skillsIn return, you can expect a competitive salary, generous leave allowance, staff pension, flexible working, a mentoring programme, an advice and counselling service, access to clinical supervisions, season ticketloan and much more.For further information, or to apply, please visit our website via the Apply button.Closing date: 11pm, 24th October 2021.
