Job Description

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We wont give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.Joining us as the Head of Individual Giving and Donor Experience, you will provide strategic lead to the Individual Giving and Donor Experience activities, including Legacies to achieve the mission, value and strategic objectives. This will involve managing the overall Individual Giving programme to innovate, engage and develop supporters, establishing future and sustainable income streams, through leading, shaping and managing teams to deliver multi-channel programmes.Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fundraising, you will carry out day to day management and coordination of the direct marketing and donor experience teams, outside specialist agencies, whilst liaising with our specialist staff, managing a team of around eleven. The Individual Marketing Team sits within the Public Fundraising unit and raises £8.7 million income per year for Mind with a budget of £2.2million - this role will contribute to the overall success of the Fundraising Department.We’re looking for candidates who have relevant experience of working within fundraising, with senior management and project management experience, managing legacy and in mem programmes. With substantial experience of contributing and achieve objectives, you will have excellent demonstrable experience of financial budgets and reporting against business objectives.
