This stand-alone HR role has a broad HR generalist remit. BAU tasks are focused on compensation & benefits / remuneration (the new hire will be tasked with bringing in new systems/policies/processes), running 360 staff reviews (there is no current systemin place for reviews, promotions, disciplinaries etc.), the rollout of long term incentive plans + the rollout of a new HR system. A key focus in the role is on ‘company culture’ – the new HR will be tasked with making improvements (including resolving disagreements/ conflicts), making this a much better / more positive environment to work in.We are looking for an existing HR professional, roughly with 5-10yrs experience, seeing this as a step up in to a ‘head of’ role. We prefer candidates from buy-side/alternatives firms, but we could look at investment banking and wider financial servicesprofiles. An ability to challenge / stand up to partners of the firm is important. Strong communication skills and excellent presentation skills are key. Having the confidence to create / lead cultural change is essential. The role is paying a £100k base salary and a bonus, that in a strong year for the employee and fund can make up a large % of salary. The hire will ideally spend 5 days per week in the office, especially initially, but 3-4 days could be fine.
