Were looking for an exceptional & dynamic professional with excellent communication skills to lead Fundraising & Partnerships Management at Body & Soul.Body & Soul is a multi-award-winning charity whose mission is to transform childhood trauma across the life course. Our unique therapeutic and community-based programmes engage thousands of members of all ages in programmes including the RSPH award-wining You Are Not Alone (Suicide Prevention), Body & Soul Families (Adoption Support) and Body & Soul HIV Support Programmes for children, young people and families.The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the versatility and innovation of the organisation, with Body & Soul providing a wide-ranging response to some of the most vulnerable members of society. With this responsibility comes the enormous job-satisfaction of securing relationships that can enable us to help thousands more.Main Purpose:To lead Body & Souls fundraising activities across a number of fronts including charitable trusts & foundations and community fundraising.Qualities, Qualifications & Experience...We are open to applications from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Our minimum requirements are:

Education to a minimum of degree level

outstanding writing skills

Proven relationship & client management skills

Qualities to thrive in a fast-moving environment

Strong organisational skills

Self-starter qualities

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Maintaining the current schedule of applications to funders.

Developing, writing and delivering innovative and creative proposals for funding, in line with aims, objectives and criteria of each individual funder.

Maintaining a broad and detailed knowledge of the organisations funding needs in order to direct applications accordingly.

Developing a prospect list of potential new funders through research and developing a programme of applications appropriate to the organisations needs and to funders requirements.

Negotiating SLAs making appropriate recommendations as to their viability.

Creating clear, evidence-based arguments to ensure appropriate funding of Body & Souls services.

Building high-quality relationships with funders and supporters.
