Job Description

Head of FP&A London £100,000 - £120,000 + Bonus and Excellent Benefits Hybrid - 4 days / week in office Cobalt is exclusively mandated in assisting one of the leading BTR/PRS property investors in the search for a Head of FP&A to lead the function. This role will be working closely with the CEO and CFO in ensuring the corporate finance strategy is effectivelyexecuted across the group.The Head of FP&A is instrumental in the strategy and analysis for the business financing decisions and will lead a high calibre finance team that has been critical to the key development and asset strategy over the past 5 years.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the preparation the annual budget and reforecasts for the entire group
  • Working with C-Suite and strategic stakeholders for the preparation and presentation of the annual budget
  • Monthly reforecasting with insight and analysis across the most relevant business activities
  • Partner with Finance and IT teams to ensure there is continuous improvement on the BI and MI tools
  • Internal and External financial review and analysis including scenario modelling and update of the five year strategic plan
  • Management of the planning and analysis team and assist commercial finance in business critical financing decisions
  • Capital restructuring and investor messaging, analysis and support
Key Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with 5 years relevant PQE knowledge
  • Working knowledge in a Senior FP&A role within a large FTSE listed (or similar) organisation
  • Proven ability to provide insightful commentary and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Impressive understanding of budgeting and forecasting for large dynamic environments
  • Have relevant examples of sitting with C-suite and influencing key decisions in tight timeframes
  • Desire to always seek change and improvement and not accept the status quo
  • Experience within property is desirable but by no means essential
