An exciting opportunity to join the team onsite at the brand new Swansea Arena, prior to its official launch in 2022!Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the Kitchen Manager (Head Chef), Stock and Events Assistant, and the Foodand Beverage (F&B) team. As the first person recruited into this role at the venue, you will be taking on the task of building a brand new customer experience from the ground up across 6 bars, 2 food kiosks and our luxurious VIP Lounge. We are looking forsomeone with experience in the Food and Beverage sector to recruit, train, develop and manage the F&B team, whilst overseeing the day to day operations of all sales outlets and high spec catering kitchen. Live entertainment is a fast paced environment thatcan involve last minute changes, movable deadlines, and lots of problem solving - so although we promote a healthy work life balance and a culture of team support and collaboration, you need to be ready to expect sometimes unavoidable changes to your schedule.A love of live performance and events is desirable!About Swansea ArenaSwansea Arena will sit as the crowning jewel within the £135m regeneration scheme Copr Bay, located next to the famous Swansea Marina, beachfront and a brand-new 1.1 acre coastal park.Over £1 billion is being invested across the City, allowing Swansea to realise its potential to be one of the most vibrant places to live, work, visit and study in the UK.Music and comedy will be at the heart of Swansea Arenas programme, alongside e-gaming,sports, conferences and events within its multi-purpose divisible auditorium. This newly constructed flexible venue will have a capacity of 3,500, able to seat 2,200, host 150 guests in the VIP lounge and serve food and beverage at 9 outlets throughout thevenue. 2,000m of exhibition space will see the venue regularly host up to 2,500 visitors at conferences and events.
