Job Description

Head of Finance - Live Music and Events - London Head of Finance required for a multifaceted entertainment complex in charge of hosting some of the best live music and arts in London.This Head of Finance roles is responsible for delivering accurate and robust financial information to support business objectives and enable consistent and strong financial decision making.Key responsibilities:

  • Operate as a fully participate member of the Strategy Team in the definition and implementation of business strategy and policy
  • Lead the preparation and build of accurate and timely budgets and financial reports
  • Work closely with the MD to lead business and brand development
  • Lead on the production and delivery of monthly management accounts to the MD and CFO to review
  • Lead on the production and delivery of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts (monthly from October) to the CFO to review
  • Ensure that all business leaders have accurate and timely monthly & year to date data/reports relating to their financial targets and weekly/monthly performance against KPIs
  • Identify areas of under-performance against business financial targets and work closely with business leaders to identify and put in place timely remedial action to keep overall business performance on track against financial targets
  • Review and optimise financial processes and procedures and proactively implement improvements and recommend best practice
  • Oversee all accounting processes relating to membership, including credit control
  • Deliver companys statutory and fiscal requirements - including preparation of fully completed audit file
  • Support HR and CFO with company payroll and flex benefits to include timely posting and reconciliations
  • Deliver fully operational fixed assets system and accompanying procedures
  • Deliver annual insurance questionnaires and deal with ownership group on any insurance related queries
  • Lead and manage the companys GDPR strategy alongside the data manager
  • Lead the roll out of timely and accurate business reporting through Jet Reports, QLIK and ODBC
  • Ensure that all members of the finance team have clear roles and responsibilities
  • Create clear service levels and standards for the delivery of finance support to the business and key stakeholders
    • Key skills:
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Prior experience working within a similar role at senior management level
  • Experience within Music/Events/Entertainment/Arts is highly desirable
  • Outstanding leadership skills with proven ability to build, develop and motivate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Considerable knowledge and experience within financial modelling
  • Experience managing budgets, and interpreting financial information
  • Excellent written skills, organised and ability to self manage workload
  • Advanced IT skills - high qualify MS Office
