Job Description

Job Title:Head of Family OfficeLocation:Central LondonJob Status:Permanent, Full TimeSalary:£350,000 to £450,000 plus packageFINCO Search is exclusively and confidentially retained by a significantly funded Single Family Office (SFO) with Times Rich List tech entrepreneurs as UBOs directing a strong risk appetite for investments across multiple asset classes attheir offices in Central London.As a result of an ongoing restructure from an outsourced model to an in-house one the SFO is expanding its team size and growing in AUM and now requires a Head of Family Office with a proven track record in investments, capable of delivering superior resultsacross traditional and alternative assets.Whilst the traditional Big4 or Big3 experience may be an advantage historically; due to the risk profile attached to the position it is a successful track record of working with Private Clients that resonates more. The position offers a unique opportunityto be part of a lean professional team of investment directors, managers and analysts managing a substantial portfolio across both Private and Public markets globally, including PE/VC fund investments, hedge funds, public equity and direct investment opportunities.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participating in strategy formulation, developing the operating model
  • Sourcing and evaluation of fund investment opportunities, direct investments, co-investments in line with the strategy
  • Leading comprehensive due diligence processes, collaborating with compliance departments
  • Preparing investment memoranda and investment recommendations
  • Analysing historical investment performance, portfolio company performance, financial statements, financial models, and industry research
  • Monitoring and optimizing existing portfolio of investments
  • Supervising and advising Investment, Treasury & Reporting and Personal Projects teams
Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of investment experience in a leadership role, focused on sourcing, evaluating and monitoring of private and public markets investments.
  • Current hands-on private markets investing experience essential
  • Excellent organisational skills, including managing projects, tasks and initiatives tightly, and being forensic on governance and processes
  • Strong results focus, with ability to work efficiently and grasp strategic and operational matters that are varied, yet seek guidance from the UBOs/team where necessary
  • Superior analytical skills, structured thinking and communication with ability to relay complex ideas in a plain and clear manner
  • Experience in managing a lean team
  • Fluent English, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact on a C-level with companies, funds and other partners
