Job Description

Head of Digital Projects/Programme Manager: London/ Hybrid - to £90k + benefitsHead of Digital Projects is required by this well regarded retail giant.This is a highly important contract that will see the successful candidate responsible for designing, planning and delivering practical and cost effective change programmes designed to meet overall strategic corporate objectives.The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivery of digital solutions for the business:
    • CRM (Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
    • Mobile Phone applications
    • Web Solutions
  • Delivery of Digital solutions including both in house and external software development
  • Project managing the insourcing of technology teams within the IT Department
Key tasks:
  • Definition of the most effective change programme to achieve corporate strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for delivery of the change programme, providing business leadership and strategic direction.
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring the change programme; agreeing plans with the Project Board and submit regular status reports indicating any deviations and corrective action taken.
  • Establish internal and external benchmarks and appropriate KPIs as the basis for demonstrating the quality and effectiveness of delivery.
  • Accountable for managing risks, issues, changes, and escalations.
  • Determine and implement solutions and mitigating actions where necessary.
  • Financial responsibility for project expenditure, including establishing budgets, monitoring spend and re-forecasting on a regular basis to highlight any potential issues.
  • Responsible for forming and managing effective relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Attract and recruit the right people to work in project delivery.
This role will see you working with a substantial number of 3rd party suppliers, so considerable experience on that side imperative.Evolutionary role with lots of scope to progress.£to 90k plus benefitsLondon / Hybrid
