Job Description

What will you be doing The purpose of the role is to drive the commercial success of the Barclays Digital Investing proposition through new client acquisition and deepening the relationship with existing customers. A strategic role with end to end responsibility that includes commercialperformance, strategy development across marketing, content and proposition, as well as acting as an external face to market and internal ambassador for Digital Investing.

  • Overall responsibility and ownership of the commercial targets for the digital business (Smart Investor, Plan Invest and associated initiatives)
  • Define sales and marketing strategy for digital businesses working with key stakeholders across the matrix to deliver
  • Designing and delivering end to end digital investing marketing programmes to segments across BUK and BI from idea creation through to execution.
  • Partner with Proposition Strategy, Design and Delivery teams and Customer Journeys teams to ensure that the digital investments and advice propositions continue to support delivery of commercial plan and provide market leading customer experience
  • Working with the colleagues within the CIO and Content team to develop the Investment content agenda to help create demand for the investment and advice offering and services.
  • Provide a clear, compelling and coordinated array of messages, content and marketing tools to create both internal and external demand which allows the business to grow.

  • Background in the investments and advice industry, with a good understanding of the competitive environment and equivalent propositions
  • Proven ability to manage customer engagement to increase revenues
  • Digital experience within finance market and ability to leverage learning from other markets
  • Significant strategic leadership experience gained in a results driven digital role
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviours within digital products
  • Experience calculating successful business plans and high profitable products
Skills that will help you in your role
  • Strong understanding of content creation
  • Successfully led external market engagement including marketing and other digital campaigns
  • Experience as brand representative
