Job Description

Head of Digital Analytics - Insights, Ecommerce, Customer JourneyKey Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Driving the vision, strategy and the delivery of Digital Analytics and Customer Journey Insights across the clients Ecommerce platform.
  • Building and scaling the analytical capabilities, including developing a team of professionals, adoption and integration of appropriate technologies
  • Defining co-ordinated but distributed ways of working with local banner teams
  • Defining and implementing KPI measurement frameworks and reporting structures for multiple Ecommerce trading products, services and stakeholders
  • Accountable for using digital analytics and data insights to define requirements and plans that deliver increased Ecommerce conversion and engagement
  • Collaborating with our Product & UX teams to proactively build and execute a testing pipeline and drive incremental improvements on Ecommerce platforms via a continuous experimentation approach
  • Creating compelling data visualizations and business dashboards based on digital analytics data from multiple sources. Sharing insights to help improve the customer experience across various touchpoints on our Ecommerce trading platforms
  • Building relationships between banner teams & group, creating a wider analyst community where sharing best practice, common measurement and learning is adopted
  • Providing thought leadership as to how data and analytics can provide distinctive capabilities to the business, including for example: latest applications of predictive analytical approaches
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years experience and expertise across a wide scope of analytical capabilities, including leading strategic direction & delivery of;
  • Digital analytics and conversion rate optimisation
  • Marketing analytics (ROI, Attribution, cohort analysis, testing at scale etc…)
  • Profit optimisation (Channel profitability, product profitability)
  • Proven experience of building high performance, impact focused & data driven analytical teams
  • Experience of leading co-ordinated but distributed of working between group and local teams, aligning action plans and facilitating sharing of best practice across the group
  • Experience of leading advanced analytics capabilities (such as predictive analytics, Machine Learning, AI) in customer orientated applications such as personalisation
  • Strong understanding of the analytical tools and technologies landscape
  • Extensive experience of working in an agile, fast paced environment with digital analytics and optimisation technologies (GA 360, Contentsquare)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex analytical constructs in a user-friendly way
