As such, we are lookingfor a highly experienced and passionate user-centred design professional to build on this momentum, accelerating our plans to grow and mature our service design and research capability, as demand for our services continues to increase.As Head of Design, youwill have the opportunity to influence organisational strategy and drive an ambitious change agenda. You will use your significant experience to continue to define NHSBTs approach to design and research; engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholdersacross the organisation; building relationships internally to create and share the vision for user-centred design and research. In doing so, you will inspire teams to ensure our services and products are user centred, open, interoperable, inclusive and meetregulatory needs.You will lead a team of service designers, user researchers and business analysts who are focussed on supporting NHSBT to save and improve lives every year. You will be pivotal in ensuring we create exemplar services and experiences that meetthe needs of donors, patients and staff, joining up digital and off-line journeys so they interoperate seamlessly.As NHSBT looks to continue to build on the significant role we played in supporting the NHS in its pandemic response, you will build strong relationshipsand collaborate with counterpart design colleagues across the NHS and government, leading design approaches and services that will positively impact the lives of patients, donors and their families.If you are a respected digital leader and ardent advocateof design, a champion of the user and expert influencer & communicator we are looking forward to hearing from you.
