Job Description

Head of Data Science and AnalyticsLondon/ Hybrid WorkingUp to £120,000 salaryOVERVIEWData-driven online eCommerce company is hiring for a head of data science and analytics to run their analytics function! You will be joining a team of strong Data Scientists, working on data products including building recommenders. Your responsibilitiesas a Head of Data Science and Analytics will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead and grow a Centre of Excellence in Data Science and Analytics.
  • Own the Data Science roadmap, engaging senior leadership with your strategic vision.
  • Engage business stakeholders to support the companys ambitious growth objectives.
  • Evolve our Data Platform and processes to unlock deeper value from our data.
  • Oversee core business reporting and insights, including consumer funnels, user value, campaign impact.
  • Support our shared vision to create connected experiences that excite our audience
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEA successful Head of Data Science and Analytics Senior will have the following:
  • Experience leading a Data Science and Analytics function.
  • Strong grasp of Data Science fundamentals and their real-world applications.
  • Able to translate broad business objectives into specific, actionable initiatives.
  • Able to engage and coordinate senior decision-makers regarding applied Data Science and Analytics.
  • Strong communicator who can convey concepts & insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering key business intelligence insights across a broad variety of e-commerce area
