Head of Data and AI Programmes London / Bristol / Nottingham / Manchester / Newcastle - All locations acceptedDay rate £400 - £420 (Inside IR35), or, Fixed Term Contract £63,000 per annumASAP start We are partnered with an exceptional Tech for Good organisation who need an experienced data and research driven Head of Programmes to join them on a 1 year contract.The post holder can be based out of any of the national offices with regular travel to London required.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Head of Data and AI Programmes role is responsible for the successful delivery of key programmes to streamline the regulation of data-driven health care research and enable adoption of data-driven health care products in the NHS.The programmes form part of a suite of activities within the NHS AI Lab to streamline the development and deployment of practical applications of artificial intelligence in the NHS, enabling faster adoption and scale of these technologies.The Head of Data and AI Programmes works with fellow regulators on AI Lab-funded projects and drive forward AI and data programmes. They will also work as part of a regulatory task force.The post holder leads a programme team of data and AI policy, information governance and engagement specialists, setting the direction and overseeing a busy work programme to streamline the review of research using patient data and support researchers touse patient data appropriately and transparently.The post holder will have strong programme and engagement skills, maintaining productive relationships with key partners including NHSX, MHRA, NICE and CQC. Within in the client, the post holder will work closely with policy, communications, operationaland finance colleagues to ensure that the data and AI programmes are well managed and executed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE Knowledge of the UK health and social care system and the data-driven research environmentKnowledge and awareness of HR policies and employment legislationEngaging team leadership: proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams, providing direction, support and challenge to staff to achieve their potentialDemonstrable success in the planning and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.Ability to manage and set budgets and a working knowledge of financial processesEXPERIENCE Comprehensive experience of project principles techniques and tools such as PRINCE 2, MSP, Agile, APM Proven experience in managing large, complex change projects/programmes Experience of building and leading high performing programme teamsPlease use the apply button to send in your CV and interest or to have a discussion call Chris Walker on
