Job Description

Passionate about helping people reach their full potential Want to bring big opportunity to businesses all over the world Find your place at Adecco.Create, lead, inspire a small and highly capable team to deliver actionable, understandable, and communicable business-outcome led insights and analytics.Effectively influence and collaborate with global business units and functional directors to accurately define and understand performance, trends and forecast impact. Accountable for UK&I data strategy, which will align with group strategy, and reflect UK&Ispecific environment and business strategy. Your team will be accountable for all data science, engineering governance and analytics in UK&I, and collaborate closely with IT for technology, business partnering and project delivery.Key AccountabilitiesKey accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with IT to develop and implement a data strategy which will support with delivering our 5-year plan, to cover all aspects of data (Insights, analytics, AI, engineering)
  • Experience of providing leadership and inspiring teams, particularly during period of change
  • Be the leader and expert for all things data in the UK&I
  • Work with leaders to understand their requirements, and deliver a high-quality service which enables insight led decision making at a strategic and operational level
  • Lead a team to deliver state-of-the-art data solutions for a range of brands / markets across the UK&I that will deliver added value to the group.
  • Establish strategic relationships with 3rd parties to support with delivering our strategic imperatives.
  • Responsible for the creation of new data sciences capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence optimal business defined outcomes
  • Ensure the team design and launches effective, innovative and complex analytic models, utilizing a blend of contemporary and traditional data mining techniques, which are applied to both structured and unstructured data sets
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure all data projects are delivered and implemented appropriately.
  • Collaborate with global data teams to ensure best practice is shared and support with delivering global consistency
  • UK&I policy and process owner for data governance
Essential Skills / Experience
  • Strategic leadership experience - ability to influence and deliver results
  • Leadership experience across varied data roles - data science, analytics
  • Experience of delivering successful outcomes in a commercial setting
  • Degree educated
  • Data tools such as - SQL, Python, Pyspark, Power BI
Personal Attributes
  • Able to act on accountabilities with autonomy with excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to engage and garner support from leaders across the organisation through effective storytelling
