Head of Cyber Security is required by an exciting AI focussed company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on real-world problems specifically around transport. With more people walking and cycling in large cities due to the current pandemic it is important to make sure they can do so, safely and at a distance which can be aided with the use of AI.You will be the first cyber security expert in the business so you will be responsible for owning the Cloud and local infrastructure security, setting up firewalls, building new security frameworks for the company and ensuring security policies are up-to-date when they launch new releases. The company is fully invested in building a cyber security team in the next six to nine months so you will need to build a roadmap on key highs to support the security and infrastructure for the business.We are looking for an experienced individual at either cybersecurity manager or Head of department level that has previous experience working in technology focused organisation supporting an internal user base up to c.100 people and prior management experience leading a team of analyst and SysOps Engineers. Individuals with experience working in the public sector will be put straight to the top of the pile as well people with industry recognised certifications such as SANS GIAC, GCIA/GCIH, CISSP or CASP. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking ports and protocols, Sys admin (Linux, Windows and Mac), Cloud services and setting up security for IoT devices.The company is growing fast and this is a great opportunity for someone to play an integral part in the companys growth.
