Job Description

Head of Customer Acquisition needed for a leading beauty pureplay based in Central London. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new customers across all of the core markets (UK, De, USA and France).This person will be responsible for leading the acquisition strategy; managing and optimising multi-channel campaigns across PPC, SEO, Affiliates and Paid Social. They will have a deep level of working knowledge in each of these areas.Data will be at the heart of everything they do in delivering the business targets and will be used to both gather insight into consumer behaviour to optimise and create campaigns and to manage the effectiveness and efficiency of revenue and profit delivery.Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the acquisition strategy, focusing on the core group of businesses, excluding China
  • Focus on the delivery of all acquisition KPIs: CPA, ROAS, Revenue, AOV, Conversion rate, LTV
  • Champion an experimentation and innovation culture in the marketing team ranging from testing new media channels to creative messages to conversion experiments and more
  • Contribute to weekly trade meetings and performance discussions acting as part of the core team making weekly trade decisions that maximise revenue and profitability in their channels
  • Manage and develop a team of channel specialists across the core channels of SEO, PPC, Affiliate Marketing, Paid Social and the associated agencies we employ to partner us
  • Coordinate all commercial activities with the brand team, ensuring that all organic and paid activities are fully delivered, measured and evaluated
  • Produce weekly / monthly reporting vs targets / KPI’s - make concise and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders to improve core metrics
  • Collaborate with the Head of Performance Marketing in managing budgets across the suite of acquisition channels, optimising performance to deliver against set targets
    • Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in Ecommerce / Digital
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including current trends and emerging channels, including PPC, SEO, Affiliate marketing, paid social, native, chat and mobile. A deep working knowledge of Google and Facebook is critical
  • Strong understanding of media attribution models and principles
  • Flexible to work with a range of cross departmental teams, team members and has the gravitas to influence key internal stakeholders
  • Strong communications skills - written, oral and presentation
  • Used to working in a fast-moving environment, with an entrepreneurial and experimental mindset
  • Strong experience of running successful multichannel campaigns
  • A confident self-starter who can work autonomously and deal with ambiguity, always striving to challenge the status quo
  • Highly numerate - comfortable with interpreting raw data to produce overarching insight reporting
  • Data driven with advanced digital analytics experience- able to demonstrate performance through factual data reporting
