Job Description

Investigo are delighted to be supporting a fast growing PE backed Hospitality company in their search for a Head of Corporate Finance.**Please note, this role will require attendance in their fantastic state of the art office 5 days per week near Shepherds Bush**The role reports to the CFO with a close working relationship across the finance team and with direct involvement with the private equity ownership group.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of the central finance team, including training, support, mentoring and recruitment
  • Head office Accounting
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting for all head office entities based in UK, Luxembourg and US, including related processes such as expense claims and corporate cards, working closely with the Operational Finance team to produce accurate management informationin timely manner
  • Produce the local UK and Luxembourg annual financial statements with the support of external accounting firms
  • Produce the annual budget and monthly forecast for head office entities
  • Audit
  • Produce the Group consolidated accounts under IFRS and manage the annual Group audit
  • Manage the annual local audit for the UK and Luxembourg entities
  • Coordinate the local audits managed by the local Property Finance teams
  • Treasury
  • Manage the Group treasury function and work with the Property Finance teams to produce accurate cash forecast and cash management reports
  • Aim at implementing a new treasury management system within the Group to improve cash management and reporting accuracy
  • Tax
  • Manage the Group Tax Provision process with the support of the external tax advisers
  • Manage the local tax compliance for UK and Luxembourg head office entities with the support of external tax advisers
  • Coordinate local tax for other jurisdictions managed by the Property Finance teams with the support of external tax advisers
  • Debt Management
  • Liaise with the existing and future lenders and work closely with the Operational Finance and FP&A team to ensure compliance to debt covenants and reporting,
  • Assist in the negotiation and due diligence of new debt and refinancing
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Experienced ACA/ACCA/qualified accountant
  • Relevant experience gained in a sufficiently complex & geographically diverse business
  • A deep understanding of transaction, due diligence, and sale preparation process
  • The ability to work across the business to bring the wider team to a new level of professionality
  • Highly motivated, proactive, ambitious, with the capability to spearhead and take full ownership over workstreams
  • Robust experience in dealing with complex capital structures, loan documentation and transaction documentation
  • A pioneering mindset in terms of dealing with a significant and diverse portfolio that covers many assets and geographies (Europe / North America)
