Head of Concerts & Production (maternity cover, fixed-term contract of up to 12 months)The London Sinfonietta is one of the worlds leading contemporary music ensembles.Our mission is to engage wider audiences in new music, support the growth of individuals and communities, and develop talent. The Head of Concerts & Production is crucial to delivery of our programme, leading a busy and dedicated team producing all London Sinfonietta performance activity including season concerts, live digital productions, audio-visual capture of live performance events, UK and international tours, recordings and special projects. The role includes joint responsibility (shared with the Head of Participation & Learning) for planning and delivery of the London Sinfoniettas Talent Development (artist development) programmes and also close working with the Digital Productions Manager in the planning and implementation of performance capture and other digital projects which are increasingly forming part of the organisations output for the public. We are looking for someone with a strong interest and enthusiasm for new music and extensive experience in the music sector with specific responsibilities for concert production, delivery and orchestral/ensemble management.
