Is it time for a new challenge with an ambitious, growing businessHave you taken your current Head of Compliance role as far as you can Or are you looking for your first move into such a roleYoull be working for a well-established principal firm that has been responsible for supporting some of the biggest FinTechs to deliver investment and insurance platforms and corporate finance advisory services. Their RegTech systems are world class andits no surprise the FCA views them so highly.Reporting directly to the CEO, youll be responsible for ensuring the business and its Appointed Representatives comply with all statutory and regulatory obligations, including those under SMCR. Youll design and implement the Compliance Monitoring Planand undertake regular horizon scanning to identify emerging risks and potential areas of non-compliance, providing advice on appropriate mitigating actions.As MLRO youll receive and evaluate reports of any suspicious activity, reporting to the NCA if required. Youll also oversee the implementation of AML and CTF policies and procedures and conduct an annual AML risk assessment across all business activities.This is a broad, challenging role where youll never be too far from the coalface. Those who prefer not to get their hands dirty need not apply.Youll either be an experienced Head of Compliance / Compliance Officer (SMF16/17) or someone ready to step into their first such role. Youll have gained this experience within retail investments, insurance or corporate finance and must understand the needto balance strong governance with commerciality.
