Job Description

Twenty84 is helping a well-established Crypto company find an experienced and committed Head of Compliance / MLRO to join their inclusive and talented team. This full-time Head of Compliance role is based in London and can be done remotely and offers a salaryof £120-150k and benefits package including generous bonuses.As a flexible Head of Compliance, you will develop and manage the companys 5MLD-compliant policies and processes. You will also ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting and implement various regulatory filings.In your first few weeks in this compliance role, you can expect to:

  • Focus on internal AML and regulatory compliance policy and frameworks review
  • Oversee and report to the senior management team on compliance monitoring outcomes
  • Develop AML and compliance training materials and deliver training sessions
  • Make recommendations for enhancing the firms systems, controls and processes
  • Maintain overall compliance with the requirements and obligations prescribed by the FCA and other relevant authorities and manage relationships and requests from the regulators
  • Take up SMF16 & SMF17 positions under the FCAs senior management regime
To succeed in this Head of Compliance job, you will need proven experience in the Fintech or Banking sector and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a risk, compliance, AML or regulatory function at a SMF16/17 level. Experience working with any FCA regulatedfinancial services business in legal / compliance roles is essential. Additional requirements include:
  • Good knowledge of national and international AML and CFT legislation
  • A reasonable understanding of crypto and mobile digital wallets ideally
  • Familiarity with RegTech tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide valuable and efficient counsel
