Head of Commercial LondonCompetitive DOEAbout our ClientWe are supporting an extremely fast growing & innovative business based in London that specialises in Final Mile delivery. This business is changing the logistics landscape as we know it offering more flexibility for consumers via their sustainable logistics solution.Role ProfileThis role will be managing the day to day activity & strategic vision for the Sales & Marketing teams with the core focus being on growing the business within the UK.This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high growth business in a position that is highly visible to the Board. The opportunity is there for a hard working & ambitious individual to build a high performing team aimed at achieving 10-fold growth (or more!)This is an opportunity to truly stamp your mark on a Business/Team & to genuinely be involved with building something special. There is a long journey ahead with lots of graft required, however if this excites you then you are the right type of person and someone we want to hear from!Skills and ExperienceA successful candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience selling Logistics services, Ecom/Retail or online platform services up to C-Suite level
  • Experience building/managing high performing teams
  • Experience designing & implementing sales strategies
  • Experience managing Marketing teams or being involved with marketing teams (not essential)
  • Experience designing & implementing Marketing strategies (not essential)
  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth environment
  • A track record of exceeding sales target both personally & for their teams
  • Be an out the box thinker who can find ways to work smarter not harder
  • Ability to work in high change environment with a natural confidence to make suggestions & challenge ideas in a positive manor
  • You will be a natural leader with a passion for building something special
  • Strong communication, people, and leadership skills, be articulate and able to adapt their style based on situational need
  • A passion for exceeding targets, offering exceptional customer-based service, and be a natural self-starter
