Job Description

This global insurance group are recruiting for a Head of Capital Management and Investment to head up their function, being part of the senior leadership team and to partner with all key stakeholder both internally and externally As a board level role, this individual would take ownership of :

  • Developing and mentoring of a team
  • Lead the reporting for SCR and Own Fund Calculations for the group
  • Ensuring internal and regulatory capital models are run
  • Development of investment strategies
  • Identify, model and present capital optimisation opportunities
  • Lead the planning and reforecasting of sensitivities
  • Oversee the process improvement of processes and tools
  • Be a key voice on relevant projects/ transformation initiatives
The board level role requires an experienced individual with demonstrable experience of mentoring and developing a capital management function. Both from team and staff development through to optimisation of reporting and capital management.
