A highly prestigious and internationally renowned travel business is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to join their growing team based in Central London. Please note, this position is office-based and you will be expected on site 5 days perweek.You will play an integral role in the business and oversee the smooth and efficient functioning of the companys finance department. You will have overall responsibility for all of the accounting and finance functions, including revenue, payroll, accountsreceivable, and banking. You will manage the groups financial accounting software, create forecasts and budgets, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, prepare financial reports, oversee the payroll process, and ensure financial stability.In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be an accomplished finance professional (ideally CIMA/ACA/ACCA or AAT qualified) with proven accounts receivable expertise. You will be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed witha proven track record of building great working relationships at all levels. You will have strong analytical skills paired with proven Excel experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables & Formulas). The successful candidate should also be confident around using and pickingup new technologies.
