Head Chefs / Wok Chefs / Prep Chefs

  • Wok Chef from £34,000pa
  • Prep Chef from 32,000pa
Full time / 48 hours per weekMultiple opportunities to join our kitchen team at acclaimed restaurants ULI and HUO in Notting Hill, Chelsea, Swiss Cottage and Balham.ULI and HUO are a busy fine-casual dining brands with a strong emphasis on delivery as well as dining in.As a chef the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years-experience in a busy Chinese / Thai kitchen and be familiar with traditional styles of Chinese and Thai cuisine.You will need to be equipped with the skills to work within a high-volume busy kitchenThe ideal person: At least 3 years-experience as a wok chef within a busy high-end Chinese / Thai kitchen Complete experience with the art of the wok Ability to deliver fresh food to the highest standards Experience in working in a busy environment A great personality who is driven and easy to get along with Knowledge & understanding of Chinese / Thai cuisine Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate The ability to work under pressure Clear spoken & written English is essentialFull training in our menu will be provided.Benefits of working for us: Full support of the Group Head Chef Full training given 28 days holiday entitlement 50% Staff discount when dining at our restaurants Pension A fun informal environment to work in A competitive salary & performance related bonuses available Career progression within the company as we look to open further sites Uniform providedYou must be available to interview in London and eligible to work in the UK.
